Today my father passed away. I want to go home soooo bad. But no one thinks it is a good idea. More than anything I want to be there for my mother.
He returned to the Lord just recently. He told me that his body was taken care of but now he had to take care of his soul. He had Last Rights on Friday when he fell into a coma. He is with the Lord and no longer feels pain, disappointment, discomfort or sadness but is joyful in his heavenly body,and in great company.
We will miss him so much as he was the head of our family. Steve & I relied on him to get us through the first 20 years of this disease. I know that he is with us in spirit.
That is all for now.
Pray for my mother for she has not been without my father since she was 19.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was such a wonderful person and will be missed so much by all that loved him. We will be praying for you and your entire family. I did have a picture cross my mind of dad at the gates waiting on Dick, and asking him what took him so long.

Oh Steff, you don't know how badly I want to fly to Florida and give you and Steve a huge hug. I am definitely thinking of all of you and hope you will find peace soon.

Steff, we just heard from Steve this morning. We had no idea what you were going through and then I log onto your blog and read you just lost your father. We are so sorry to hear of this. Our thoughts are with you and your family in this difficult time.
